Luca Wiegand
Owner and sole engineer of Wega Studios. A computer scientist by conviction, on a route that did not start in a lecture hall.
About the owner
Luca Wiegand is a computer scientist by passion and does not shy away from operational work. Before university came six months in logistics — processes that have to work because otherwise something stops, and people who depend on that. It still shapes how he plans software: around what actually gets used, not around what specifies neatly.
His interest rarely stops at a discipline boundary. Backend architecture, mobile products, game systems in Unreal and building his own AI harnesses sit equally close — not as a grab bag, but because the same questions surface everywhere: where are the limits, what happens when it fails, and how do you know it works.
Two months on assignment in the United States and the work as a translator between IT and business sharpened something no benchmark reports: working with people whose vocabulary is a different one. Anyone approaching Wega Studios therefore speaks directly to the person who owns the architecture — and gets answers that hold outside the technical detail too.
